We are a team of coaches from Barcelona who offer different opportunities to take surfskate to the next level.

Our method is focused on increasing the technical skills, focusing on body adjustment and movement guidance. Our goal is to help surfskaters to be more comfortable to ride on most surfaces, unlock their potential and develop new tricks.

@manuchis will be coaching in Finland during August. Some sessions are planned, and you are invited to attend to them!

Thursday 6 (Location: Jätkasaari)
- 20:00 to 21:00 All-levels Technification (turning and pumping)

Friday 7 (Location: Jätkasaari)
- 19:00 to 20:00 Bert-Slide and introduction to snaps

Saturday 8 (Location: Micropolis)
- 10:00 to 11:00 Bowl technique (turning and cutbacks)
- 11:00 to 12:30 drop-in and board control

Tuesday 11 (Location: Octopus)
- 17:00 to 18:00 Introduction for beginners (max 3ppl)
- 18:00 Beginner and intermediate Technification
- 19:00 First time in a bowl (having speed in verticals)

Thursday 13 (Location: Octopus)
- 18:00 to 19:00 Turns, snaps
- 19:00 to 20:00 Flyout and 50-50

Vienna Day 4 ✨
Our last day at Vienna started with a Girls-only session with @morasol and skating at the Copa Beach skatepark with @pyojany @manuchis @morasol @mvksenia @rcarloscastillo 🤙

We started the day with focused surfskate workshops at the Penzing Skatepark. Drop-in, slides, bowl technification and a lot of tricks. In the afternoon the @surfskate.vienna contest with cool vibes and great riders enjoying the sun!

We visited Copa beach and a bit of swim in the Danube. We started with our beginner classes for @surfskate.vienna festival!

Private sessions ✨

Usually, when we travel we have requests for private sessions. Due to the reduced time we developed a specific methodology to take it to the maximum.

With that in mind we focus on prioritizing the technique, which is the key to unlock the flow and most of the tricks. Sometimes people comes with a clear objective, but to achieve them, technique should be executed properly.

It is very common for us to find that, even advanced riders, need to correct specific position or movements. Lower levels also benefit from learning with the warranty that they are performing the right way.

We start with the basics. Checking the stance, the movement, the coordination. Depending on the rider ability, we increase the difficulty, working with close and sharper turns, working frontside and backside, taking it to the slopes, and then to the bowl. Sometimes we find that we should keep working in the basics instead of moving faster. Other times, riders catch the movement faster and we can practice some trick. Everyone learns differently.

For us there Is no specific route or timing. People with years of experience could feel locked on their movement, while newcomers can feel safe and improve faster. Some need to work on their confidence, others in their patience.

Everyone finish their session learning something new, and some homework to keep improving by themselves. It is important to have someone to keep an eye on us and help observing and correcting the bad habits we might develop.

Coaching is part of any sport, is a path to improvement and having an external view on what we are doing.

Why to choose a private session?
We can focus on specific needs, moving faster towards your goal. It is much more efficient but also more exigent! In our private sessions we include video recording and corrections with personalised exercises to keep working by your on.
